Well folks, it has been a busy two days! We have been to the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the WW2 Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian Museums, the National Building Museum, and a dinner theater. We also had the excitement of riding the Metro, which was quite an experience since most of the kids have never been on the subway. In this picture some of our boys are waving at the traffic passing beneath a Metro bridge. At the moment we are rejoicing with our President over the death of Bin Laden. We are all excited to be in D.C. for this news. Tomorrow is going to be another busy day, but have no fear you have a special treat coming to you sometime tomorrow!

  1. It certainly is a historic day to be in our nation's capital. Sounds like you're seeing it all. Remember the rest of us as we go back to school while you are having this wonderful learning experience. I want you to come back and tell us all about it. Have a great day tomorrow. Mrs. Stubbs
